Redd Angel Radio Host

Model, Actress, Entertainment Consultant, Video Jockey, and Radio Host
Renaissance Woman Kenya Redd was born and lived in Baltimore, Maryland until 2005 when she decided to move to Atlanta to operate her own modeling/runway training/talent scout agency called KNR Casting. Prior to this move, Kenya was no stranger to the entertainment industry. Since the age of 15, she has inspired to become a model and her photographs were featured in several modeling/hair magazines (Honey & Hype Hair Magazines). Some years later, she graced the runways throughout Maryland, DC, Virginia and New York, signing on with Elite Model Management in 1993. She also promoted fashion venues and modeled for local clothing designers in the Baltimore-Washington area. In 2002, her acting debut began with her being featured in several independent productions including HBO’s The Wire and Tom Cruise Minority Report. It was on the “Wire” where she literally fell into the arms of her husband “Judah” who was acting as security on the scene for one of the major drug dealer characters. In 2001 Kenya became a popular spokesperson for music videos shows. It was at this time she adopted the name REDD Angel because of her last name and at that time signature red hair.

Today, Kenya is owner and operator of Runway101, an entertainment consulting group, providing public relations, marketing, production and media support services to up and coming and pre-established artist. She is also the Vice Present of Radom Cat Records a Universal Label owned by her husband Daniel Edwards aka (Judah). In 2009, Radom Cat Records partnered with a web-branding entertainment company called Black-Box Inc., a NYC firm recently relocated here in Atlanta. Together the two companies are promoting a renowned seasoned music producer compilation album and a local hip-hop singer -- both are about to drop debut albums in 2010.

As if modeling, acting, recording management was not enough to do in Atlanta, Kenya was able to write and produce several film productions entitled: Legacy Hill, Meet the Falks and Model Tendencies. Legacy Hill aired on URScene internet TV to over 13 million viewers world-wide for a brief period of time in 2007.

BlackBox Records Inc. responds to Foxy Brown’s allegations regarding “Let Em Know”.
On February 4, 2010, an un-mastered version of “Let Em Know” new single featuring Foxy Brown, produced by Easy Mo Bee was leaked over the internet. “An unauthorized release” Easy Mo Bee who has been working on a compilation album called “ Right Now “ featuring various signed and unsigned artists including the infamous Foxy Brown had nothing to do with the leaking of the single. Although the lyrics have created a lot of Buzz via airways and internet … its not the version scheduled for release. In fact, neither Easy Mo Bee or BlackBOX Inc. have that version in house. In addition, Foxy Brown has never asked to have the track deleted and as far as they knew, the single was a go.
“Let Em Know” is scheduled to be released early this year by BlackBox Records Inc. (www.bbrecordsinc.com). BlackBox Records Inc. has been following the progress of the “Right Now” compilation album for almost a year now. They want fans to know that the “authorized” version of the single “Let Em Know” featuring Easy MO Bee’s beat, along with the vocals of Foxy Brown and Lil Fame (only), is still scheduled to be released. This mastered version will be worth the wait and definitely will remain true to the quality of music we are accustomed to hearing from legendary producer Easy Mo Bee.
